Now and then I write about building, training, and living intentionally. Personal experiences, hard-won lessons, and the occasional 2 a.m. idea. No spam, unsubscribe anytime.

The story

Building things my whole life

I have been building things for as long as I can remember. Box cars in the garage with my dad, video games, little contraptions, whatever I could take apart and put back together. That kid never really left.

I studied mechanical engineering at NC State, spent years as a cybersecurity product manager, and later worked as a digital nomad, setting up in a new country whenever I could. Along the way I got clear on what I actually care about: making things that help people live more, staying curious, and chasing a little discomfort on purpose.

So now I build tools and write about the life around them. The tech is the means, never the end.

When I'm not building

Snowboarding somewhere steep
Lifting heavy things
Biking around Denver
Traveling anywhere that sounds fun
