About

Building things my whole life

I have been building things for as long as I can remember. Box cars in the garage with my dad, video games, little contraptions, whatever I could take apart and put back together. That kid never really left.

I studied mechanical engineering at NC State, spent years as a cybersecurity product manager, and later worked as a digital nomad, setting up in a new country whenever I could. Along the way I got clear on what I actually care about: making things that help people live more, staying curious, and chasing a little discomfort on purpose.

So now I build tools and write about the life around them. The tech is the means, never the end.
